Is this a girls-only soccer group?

We are currently building dedicated girls cohorts for ages 6–9 and 10–12. Early registrants may start in our current mixed training groups while the girls cohort forms. Our goal is to launch the dedicated girls cohort in August once enough girls have registered.

Can my daughter start before the August girls cohort launches?

Yes. If you would like her to begin sooner, she can start in one of our current training groups while the dedicated girls cohort is forming.

Where is the program located?

The program is in Montreal. Training is usually at 1001 Boul Crémazie E, Montréal, QC H2M 1M3 near Cremazie metro station. We also use other locations in the Villeray and Saint-Michel areas.

What is the schedule?

Our current mixed groups training schedule for ages 6-9 is Tuesday at 6 PM and Saturday at 9 AM.

Our current mixed groups training schedule for ages 10-12 is Monday and Friday at 6 PM, and Saturday at 10 AM.
For the girls-only group, we are still defining the schedule. It will be—two or three times per week depending on the age—similar schedule as our mixed training groups.

What happens if the August cohort does not have enough girls yet?

We will communicate with families before the start date. If the group is not ready yet, you can choose to continue in the current training group, wait for the dedicated girls cohort, or discuss the best option with us.

Why are you launching a girls cohort?

We want to create a welcoming pathway where girls can build skills, confidence, friendships and love for soccer. As more girls register, we can create a dedicated environment that better supports their development.

Can my daughter join with a friend?

Yes. If your daughter has a friend who would also like to join, they can both register or request a trial. Starting with a friend can help some girls feel more comfortable and excited.

What ages is this program for?

This program is focused on girls ages 6–9 and 10–12. These two age groups help us place each player in a group that better fits her stage of development, confidence level and learning needs.

What is the difference between the Girls 6–9 group and the Girls 10–12 group?

The Girls 6–9 group focuses on fun, confidence, coordination, basic soccer skills, teamwork and helping girls enjoy their first or early soccer experiences.The Girls 10–12 group focuses more on skill development, confidence, teamwork, decision-making and helping girls improve in a stronger training environment with players closer to their age.

Does my daughter need previous soccer experience?

No. Your daughter does not need previous soccer experience to start. The program is welcoming for beginners, recreational players and girls who want to improve. We focus on helping each player grow from her current level.

Is this only for competitive players?

No. The program is not only for competitive players. It is a good fit for girls who want to learn, improve, stay active, make friends and enjoy soccer in a positive environment. Players with more experience can also benefit from the structured coaching and skill development.

Who coaches the girls program?

The girls program is coached by Christine Khalil, a passionate soccer coach with many years of experience coaching girls. Her goal is to help young female players grow both on and off the field by developing their skills, confidence and love for the game.

What will my daughter learn?

Your daughter will work on soccer skills such as ball control, dribbling, passing, coordination, movement, teamwork and decision-making. Just as importantly, she will also work on confidence, discipline, perseverance and learning how to be part of a team.

Can my daughter join if she already plays another sport?

Yes. Soccer can be a great complement to other sports. It helps develop coordination, agility, balance, endurance, teamwork and confidence. Girls who play hockey, basketball, football, dance, gymnastics or other activities can still benefit from soccer training.

Is summer a good time to start?

Yes. Summer is a great time to start because many children have more flexibility after school ends. It can also be a positive way to keep your daughter active, social and learning during the summer months.

This is an ongoing girls soccer training program. The 30-day free trial gives your daughter a chance to experience the environment before continuing with the monthly program.

The 30-day free trial gives your daughter the opportunity to try the girls soccer program and see if it is a good fit. It gives you time to see how she feels in the environment, how she connects with the group, and whether the program is right for her before deciding to continue.

What happens after the 30-day free trial?

Accepted Answer

After the trial period, you can decide whether you would like your daughter to continue in the monthly girls program. If you already signed up for a monthly plan you can cancel it or we can cancel it for you before the trial period ends if you decide not to continue. If you decide not to continue you won't be charged after the trial period ends.
